“ Perkatory Coffee has 5 locations and offers free US shipping for orders over 75. This is the second location I've been to and I really love their brand. I'm a fan of spooky vibes, Halloween, skulls, and all things punk rock; this coffee shop showcases it in their decor and ambiance. They roast the coffee beans and have bags and merchandise to purchase in the shop. There were some seats inside, I'm sure it can get full during peak hours. This location was in a convenient location in a plaza with ample parking. When I went, there were a couple of people ahead of me. This gave me some time to look at their menu and specials. The customer service was friendly. I decided to get a medium iced blueberry pie latte; it tasted like blueberry and it was the perfect level of sweetness and blueberries. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. Overall, definitely up there with one of my favorite coffee shops in CT. ”

“ This was some of the best coffee I’ve had in awhile! I really liked the simplistic style of the menu so it didn’t feel overwhelming to decide what to get. Also really loved that they had a few gluten free food options and the portion sizes are generous, it would be great if those options expanded because the ones we did try were delicious! The atmosphere in here was also top notch - I was disappointed there wasn’t more seating because the vibes were so good there we wanted to hang out. All their merch they were selling was really cool and high quality stuff. We will definitely be back here!! ”

“ Perkatory Coffee Roasters does exactly what its name is, perks you right up! We stopped in this location to fuel up on caffeine while traveling to Boston & we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly. They made sure to answer any questions we had. The merch they provided fit the theme perfectly & thought it was creative. My drink; iced vanilla latte, was delicious! The vanilla syrup was perfect. I was surprised at how good it was. It wasn't overly sweet, which is what I personally prefer. My spouse ordered the specialty drink; "As You Wish," which was a mango espresso soda topped with a dehydrated lime wheel & a sprinkle of tajin. I've personally never had a drink like that before, but it was quite refreshing. If I'm ever back in the area again, I'd happy stop at Perkatory Coffee Roasters. “ We came here around 9:30 am on a Monday so after the usual rush. They still had a few pastries left. There is a nice punk vibe to the place. It was almost hidden since the larger plaza sign doesn't list them (they're a bit off to the side from the road). They had multiple choices for merch and beans. I did enjoy their signage and they seem to really have fun with their seasonal drinks - a creative individual certainly makes their menu! The cold brew was amazing - crisp and very clean flavor, not too bitter. I will note it was strange that for such an intimate atmosphere in a small setting that there was no music playing. I think it would improve general ambience a lot especially for any coffee shop. ”

“ I love everything about Perkatory- the baristas are always friendly and personable, the coffee is delicious (my favorite is the salted caramel cold foam and they have it in sugar-free too!) the store itself is adorable and has lots of personality (limited seating but actually a good amount for the limitations of the space), the pastries are delicious and I love love love their seasonal drink specials! It is pricey if you're used to big corporate chain pricing, but not out of range for a small coffee chain in the area, and it is definitely worth it for both the quality of drink, the excellent service, and to support a small CT business so no complaints here! ”

“ I wish Bae was with me. Had to get a latte on the way to meet friends in New Hampshire. Saw the sign on the free way. Glad I stopped by. Every other place was closed except Starbucks and dunking and I can't do that to myself. I'd rather drive hours ... this place was sorta on the way. So far this drink is creamy with enough flavor to taste the beans. Good temperature . Very frothy for a latte. It's yum good. ”

Iced Latte is my go to, but their specials are unique and fun to try! Usually a small line every time I go, but doesn’t take long to order & get your food/drink. Can work remotely there, just not the best place because of how small the space is. ”
